I was in the shop for 20 minutes and not a single staff member asked if I needed help. Several staff around but all talking to each other. It is also small, with limited selection when compared to Bunnings or Mitre10; guess I'll spend my money at one of those.
Greeted when we walked in the door nice we did not have to go looking for help... all the staff were friendly and helpful but the older lady wish I had got her name was outstanding I hope Placemakers realise she is worth her weight in gold.
Asked 2-3 times for someone to contact me about a product. Just wanted to know lead time and recommended installer when I purchase it.nThey just couldn't be bothered - if you are not a builder with a relationship here already and are looking at doing any DIY yourself Dunedin/Otago don't bother.
Great new store but gutted they are closed on a Sunday.
Great store for basic tools. I dropped in here and picked up a low-end hammer to help build a flat pack at our apartment. Not much of a DIY expert and I believe this store is targeted at trade professionals and experienced DIY persons.nnYet someone like me could find what I need at a good price. Store persons were friendly and respectful! Well done team
