Amazing mix of gifts for all ages and plants along with a great cafe, this place has something for everyone.. Along with a tesla Supercharger right next door.. And it would be remiss of me not to say the staff are incredible and very attentive.
An extensive selection of plants. Well designed displays of plants/flowers that work well together. Colorful, inviting, and healthy plants, easily accessed and dont overwhelm you.nKnowledgeable staff are readily on hand to assist.
Yesterday my sister was celebrating her birthday. I, noticed HeHe, that today she is still. Anyway, yesterday her and her friend were in my car. I asked her, where to go for coffee or tea cake etc. We were in Nth DN, suggested Easy, Nicol's. I then spoke with her friend to say half each, which was received in acceptance. I was told it's usually buzy. As I walked into Nicol's, pleasant atmosphere, I got to the cafe part, and went Wow, it really is busy!nnSoon, we were attended by friendly staff, and ultimately ordered and paid .5 each.nnLovely walnut and othe loaf, and mocha.nnDelightful for me and her guest, and my Sister says it will be memorable, Wow. Maybe, HeHe, the memorable bit will be that I paid half.nnAAA+.nnRegards.
Very good selection of plants. But its the Cafe that is going to have me coming back every time I'm in Dunedin. Friendly helpful staff. Good selection of food. Reasonably priced. I chose the calamari. Very wise choice. Never called food Devine before but that's the best description of the delicately ¹seasoned stripe. Meat was certainly not tough. Every mouthful was a delight. Came with good helping of salad that had a tasty dressing and plenty of crispy noodles. The chef is worth his weight in gold, in my opinion. Thank-you Nichols Garden Center.
Online ordered 8 roses to Auckland, arrived with a box upside down, almost every single plant got damaged through the shipping and poor packaging, the pots were found on top of each other and the soil were everywhere over the plants inside the boxed, 3 plants have lost half of their branch when I took them out of the boxes and many were bent over. I sent photos and emails to the shop they said they would come back to me, but they never did. We bought our roses from other 2 nurseries in the South Island and 1 in Hawkes Bay before, never had problems with shipping and packaging, very disappointed experience this time. Given 2 stars because the plants were nice and healthy.
