Food presentation, food serving, ambience, service, menu, price - everything is perfect. I tried one of their Chef's Recommendation. Photo - Red Whiskey Prawns. Tastes really good and spiciness is just right. Spicy Level: Mild. Their staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back.

I recently tried Pla Thong Thai restaurant and it was a total vibe. The atmosphere was so cozy, and the service was top-notch. But the real MVP was the green curry I ordered - it was delicious. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced, and the portion size was more than generous. I'd highly recommend this spot to any fellow Thai food lovers out there. Plus, the prices were super reasonable which is always a plus. Overall, a solid dining experience. Can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes.

I haven't been to any Thailand restaurants for many years. Pla Thong restaurant was pretty decent one. BBQ children starter was brilliant. Coconut soup was fantastic. The special fish was so so, which was too dry and not very tasty.

Found this restaurant by accident which turned out to be a highlight of our night. Food is gorgeous and staff is super nice, amazing and professional. We ordered red curry, Tom yum and pai Thai, all of them were well presented and tasted amazing, except medium spicy being more spicy than I excepted. Overall a definitely five star.

Did a take away of drunken noodles, red curry and stir fry veggies. All supposed to be medium. Our tolerance for spice is not bad but this was beyond ballistic and killed all flavour if any. The only exception was drunken noodles. Rest of it was spicy as and full of fresh pepper corns which we had to keep picking out. Could not eat.

Service: good service. Waitresses were friendly Atmosphere: cosy atmosphere. Tables are close together so you can hear others co conversations Taste: the whisky drunken prawns are amazing Price: 3 courses for 2 people were $120 including drinks

So, so good. Excellent service. Fair price. Beautiful restaurant and the food is AMAZING! Note of caution, ‘medium’ is still quite spicy.

This the Kao Na Ped Duck Fried Rice. It was delicious! The food, music, atmosphere and service was amazing. Kind staff with beautiful attire. Really recommend to anyone keen to explore Thai cuisine near Mount Eden. But also worth the travel if you're keen to drive from far away.
