Definitely a "okay" category to me. Not very impressive, however, fair enough. I lived in Chongqing once and visited Chengdu many times. I guess I can speak with that experience. The calculation of the bamboo sticks sounds inexpensive, but you are only surprised when you get the bill. Once in a blue moon, fine.

This place used to be a failing Thai rest called Tusk. Lots of reviews were referring to such which is irrelevant at present. We hence took a visit, steamboat is serving. Choices were not a lot. Pricing wise on the upper end. The owner was on TV during the first Covid lockdown when the business was heavily impacted. Will we come back again? Prob no, as there are plenty of other choices next door.

Always fresh and full of flavour. Years of consistently excellent meals. Try the sticky rice. Also enjoyed the tempura fish tonight.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place is. Food is delicious, restaurant is clean and modern, and the service was pretty good. Although menu is quite traditional, it is tasty.

Food was okay. Little bit bore oily and rushed service even on a less crowded day.

Me and my partner bought green tofu and yellow chicken curry. We ordered two rice. The curries were both way too sweet and the rice got served to is in two spoonfuls, we paid 5 dollars for rice and yet .. the people beside us got rice in bowls.. why?!!! This is not the first time I've eaten Thai and was seriously disappointed- not the quality I expected for the price. Didn't get asked how the meal was. Will not be going back.

went to Tusk with a grab one voucher and kind of expected to get the normal voucher treatment.......... To our surprise the food was exceptional so was the waiters and other staff. We had a really nice evening with very good food. The only negative was that we felt a bit crammed in and had very little or no privacy with our conversation and we now know all there is to know about the couple next to us.

Looking for authentic Thai food?....this was one of the best I've tried with excellent service to match

Delicious! This was our first time having Szechuan hotpot and we loved it. The staff were very lovely and helpful in explaining how it all worked to us as well. A very enjoyable way to eat out and super tasty!
