Manaakitanga is unmatched.  I need to say that people cannot just rock up and peer through windows, wander around, how would you feel if strangers did this at your home.  There are processes for visiting and in order for encounters to be mutually beneficial, they need to be followed.

The marae is the cultural and spiritual home of a large Waiheke island community. It is nestled  picturesquely  on the shores of the Waitamata harbour, a reminder of the many past generations that have called Waiheke home...
