Overall 4 starsnLocation is good.nWe booked one night, after Tongariro Alpine Crossing.nnShower is hot and consistent.nnBooked Spa at front desk. $30 for whole pool.nIn booking.com they said it came with cold drinks, it’s a little bit misleading. Cold Drinks is only cold water, not soft drinks. :nnRate includes continental breakfast. They have bread, fruits, milk and coffee.nnGood location. I’ll recommend it to my friends.
The rooms with their own bathroom look ok and the bathroom seems to be modernized not long ago.nnBut the community kitchen is an absolute nightmare. Almost looks like it's prepared to intentionally scare you away from using it. Full of mold, dead insects and dirty dishes. Fridge smells disgusting and I'd rather throw my food away instead of putting it in there.nnGetting a dishwasher and keeping the kitchen clean can't be that hard. Looks like nobody looked after it for weeks.
This place is just awesome. The hosts were all so very helpful and friendly.nnNothing was too much of a problemnnWould highly recommend as a place to stay
We had an amazing weekend at Pipers Ski Lodge! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our girls especially loved the arcade games and relaxing in the jacuzzi. Thank you for making our weekend so special—highly recommended!
First time at Piper's Lodge. Aku made us feel really welcome he's a great host.nGames room is fantastic.nNice big lounge and a huge fireplace. Definitely would recommend to anyone coming through National Park.
