Superb classic movie theatre with the glam of movie stars decorating the entranceway. The Cafe and dining areas are a delight, and so are the soft furnishings to sit on on the way to and from the theatres. Theatre seating is also comfortable and plush. I'm looking forward to going to a movie every day during the week of my stay in Brooklyn.
Has good selection of movies. Comfortable seating in cinema, friendly, helpful staff. Decor mostly suited to Era of building but a little tired. Didn't have meal so can't comment on this but nice to have option in-house.
Fabulous place to either enjoy a movie or treat yourself to something delicious to eat, or both! I love the old fashion style of it, and gosh, there are so many comfortable couches to relax. The cafe is beautiful, the food is great, the staff are super nice, there's parking available and it's kids friendly. I couldn't ask for more. Besides, Brooklyn is such a lovely area, you won't regret going for a walk while you're there.
originally known as the Vogue Theatre, was constructed for the Ranish family and opened on 15 June 1939.nThey have four cinemas also they are available for hire:nCinema One – 167 seatsnCinema Two – 66 seatsnCinema Three – 168 seatsnVogue Suite – 30 seatsnOnly thing is they have paid parking.nThere is a pay and display car park located on the south side of the cinema building on Ohiro Road. You can also pay for the southside downhill carpark inside the cinema at the tills. Not the north side park.
To be honest, I prefer this cinema to the newer ones because of the vibe. The staff are super friendly and the prices are fair. The films that are shown here have a wide variety, not just the new films
