Good friendly service and really good, always dependable food and coffee too. Brunch us also served all day and the eatery is open late which is great.nThe cinema is cozy and one of my favourites in Wellington in a lovely art deco building in Island Bay, one of Wellingtons loveliest seaside suburbs.nI recommend the food and coffee as well as the movies!
Spacious cafe, only ordered hot chocolate and popcorn in prep for the movie we went to watch. The cinema itself is quite small but cozy and warm. Drove here, parking is conveniently located right outside.
We randomly popped in and got the pepperoni pizza and fries and I was super impressed! It arrived quickly and the kids and I loved it. Super crunchy fries with very yummy aioli and the pizza was a surprise hit. I will definitely come back and order the same again!
I love this place. The food & snacks are so reasonably priced for a theater and it’s a really fun atmosphere to get dinner & see a movie. The food is really good though I’d love to see more vegan options and the popcorn/drink combo is reasonable plus the popcorn comes in a cute little box & the soda comes in a glass!. Tuesday night movies for $10 is such a good deal. And the people who work here are really friendly. Definitely recommend for a night out.
Wasn’t acknowledged by staff when we walked in. When we asked about their drinks menu, their response was to point to a closed menu on the counter. None of the staff seemed interested in providing customer service at all. They were walking around, eating popcorn and also sitting down on their phones. We went in to watch a movie that was almost two hours long, and the same popcorn was still all over the floor when we walked out, as they hadn’t been bothered to vacuum up. Nobody checked tickets, anybody could have walked in to the movie. Won’t be heading back anytime soon.
