Story

Peggy Gordon's Celtic Bar opened in November 1993, Bertie Burleigh New Plymouth's famous publican know for pushing boundaries since 1993.
Peggy Gordon's affectionately known as Peggy's or The Irish Bar, the home of good Guinness, good criac in New Plymouth.
Peggy's is the home of live music in New Plymouth with live act's every weekend; Download", "Rusty AZ", "Blistered Fingers", "Slam", "Rockface", "Dodgy Jacks", "Avalanche" & many more great cover bands.
We also have Irish Band's "Shaskeen Reel" & "Dandy Lager, sure to get your feet moving.
Peggy Gordon's on the Corner of Egmont & Devon Street's next to the TSB Showplace (The old Opera House) Yes that big green building with Guinness & Irish Flags one of New Plymouth's best night spots.
Peggy Gordon's has outside dining and a large outside entertainment area next to the bar where you can enjoy comfortable outside dining and try one of our famous Beef & Guiness Pie's or Irish Stews. Or if you are feeling lucky have a go on one of our 10 pokie Machines from The Southern Trust in our comfortable air conditioned gaming lounge.

Peggy Gordon's has Quiz Nights on Wednesday's at 7.30pm. The Famous happy hour starts at 5pm on a Friday and look out for the complimentary bar snacks.
