I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. So unassuming and yet so all-encompassing.nFantAStic food, lovely staff and a great outdoor entertaining area where kids can play and parents keep an eye on them.nThe crushed deep-fried potatoes were finger-licking good, the steak cooked to perfection and the salad absolutely right. What a lovely meal. Thank you guys at Peekaboo, well done
Great concept for a restaurant and the addition of the kids playground was amazing! The service was friendly and easygoing - unfortunately we waited over an hour for pancakes, and when they came they were burnt to the point of being black on one side. We sent them back to the kitchen and it took them over 20 minutes to make pancakes again. When the pancakes came a second time they were burnt yet again. We decided to then feed the kids because it had been 80 minutes since ordering and they were melting down. My only wish is for the kitchen staff to have had more hustle and attention to detail. I’m not sure how anyone serves black pancakes twice to kids and thinks that’s ok.
Location is really cool and the service was really nice. The food was good however my pizza margarita had lots of cheese on one side and none on the other which was a little annoying. Other than that I would definitely come here again.
That hapuka was SO fresh, super crispy potatoes and always colourful and tasty salads.nnTai Tokerau and Kaitaia especially needed a whānau friendly, kid friendly simple, modern and inspired eatery.nnWe got it, love this space!
Get stop off location on our way to the top of the country.nFoor was great with service to match. Good selection of drinks albeit small.nLarge play area for the kids keeps them away from the devices
