Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice large dining area with ample seating. Popular with local residents. The salad bar was a nice treat with fresh vegetables and more unique choices. All made from locally grown produce. I recommend the fish of the day. Perfectly cooked and beautiful presentation. The crème brûlée and cheesecake was a nice finish to the meal. One of the part owners was on site and demonstrated his passion for the business. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
Great service. Food was nice, pork belly was a little dry but other than that it was yum. The Salad bar has a lot to choose from, nice fresh vegetables.
Recommended by the owner of a B&B locally where we were staying. The restaurant doesn’t look anything special from the outside, but this changes upon entering. The welcome was warm and professional. The food superb with excellent service. There was a bit of a delay in the food coming out, but undoubtedly this was because everything is cooked to order and not pre-prepared. Unlimited salad available on a help yourself basis. Prices, including for drinks, were reasonable.nIndeed, so good was the experience that we returned the next evening, and had another excellent meal.nRecommended.
Went here last night with my husband and 4 kids and it was amazing. They have a kids corner which was great because when the kids got a little restless, they had toys and books to entertain them. The service was on point. The guy who I think is the head waiter or manager was really professional and looked after us so well. The young girl who I believe was new, was polite, professional and made sure we had everything we needed. Didn’t have to wait long when ordering drinks, they checked up on us throughout the evening and just overall made our experience much better. The food was delicious and they had good options for the kids. Normally on a kids menu, you get the standard chicken nuggets, burgers etc but they had a really good selection. I’ve dined out at many places in NZ and around the world and I am stoked we have this restaurant in our home town - somewhere that caters for families and provides such great service and satisfying food.
Enjoyed food , right up my ally however partner did not like he’s a fussy only down side long wait
