After Queenstown, we just had to have more ice cream at Patagonia so we went to the outlet in Wanaka as well. This is probably our 5th time eating in this outlet. So first off, the serving sizes were smaller then the Queenstown outlet which was disappointing. Taste wise, the sorbets and ice cream were fantastic. Coffee was pretty decent too. Service was friendly and the environment is welcoming. However, I have to call out on the croissants which was really really really small. You can refer to my picture on the size. No camera tricks here. For the price, I could have gotten a croissant double the size elsewhere. I would say it would be better to remove this item altogether from the menu so that customers continue to focus on the chocolates and ice cream they do so well.
Delicious ice cream shop. Pricey but you pay quality. And their cone is so good. You need to try this is a must go. Too bad they are closing so early for summer.
Ice cream is out of this world!! We had raspberry sorbet and Tramontana, it was simply delicious. Plus, service was fast and let us try flavors to find the perfect taste for us. Huge scoops justifying the price. Loved it!
Well. Stopped off when visiting Wanaka. The chocolates look amazing and the ambience very cool. Went with a coffee and croissant well its probably more of a roll and a latte. Dropped the review when saw what I'm buying. Very average. Coffee has burnt flavour. Croissant is a flakey pastry roll. The jam n butter has or was refrigerated. It doesn't spread it... layers Sad review for what seemed so so promising
Favourite place when visiting Wanaka. They also have branches in Queenstown and Arrowtown. Delectable ice cream flavours. Love their chocolate choices too. Staff are friendly and always have a smile on their faces. A must try!
Couldn’t wait to finish before posting. This place is amazing. Easily the best carrot cake I’ve eaten in my life! The coffee is perfect. Cannot recommend enough.
Gorgeous ice-cream. An wide and interesting selection of flavours. Generous portions. Expensive, but worth it! Friendly service.
Food was ok but the service was bad. The staff passed me a piping hot kettle of tea and expected me to hold it with my bare hands while he was holding onto the handle. I could only hold onto the tip and told him it was hot. But he still released his hand and left the hot kettle to me! As a result, I had a burn and immediately turned into a blister while I was still at the store. No particular attention or concerns from the staff as well, I had to request for first aid kit on my own.
Yum strawberry ice cream and lemon sorbet, the chocolate truffles are very nice and special! Staff are so friendly and greets you with most beautiful smile.
The icecream was Ok, a bit too much sugar for my taste. After buying a scoop of icecream in a waffle cone for 9$, did not have time to finish there as I needed to get back on the tour bus. I have asked for a paper cup to put the icecream there, not thinking anything about it. Well they wanted 2$ for an empty paper cup, how ridiculous!!! Fine, happy to pay 50 cents, but 2$ for an empty tiny paper cup after already spending 9$ there?
