Parklands Motel

We've stayed here twice now ahead of tramping trips on the Whakanui track. We've always received a warm welcome, the room is very comfy, and the location is great. We're looking forward to staying again - thanks for taking such good care of us!

What a surprise to find motel like this at a great price. Am very happy with the overall experience. Would recommend to families and those needing to stay in Wainui.

This is a wonderful, well cared for place. Michael and his staff keep the place looking great and the rooms are extremely clean and provisioned. I stayed in 3 of the rooms over 2 and a half weeks and found them all very comfortable and quiet with everything I needed. This included a generous free wifi internet connection so I could stream my TV shows etc in the great TV receivers he provides.

Great interactions with host Mike, clean, warm comfortable room. Well supplied, everything on the generous side. Wi fi etc. all good. Would definitely stay again

Mike is such a wonderful host, our leisure marching team spent a weekend there for our north island champs. Honestly Mike absolutely went above and beyond any other proprietor I've ever met. Have recommended to all traveling marching teams.
