Value for money;nnIf you’re not fussy and looking for a budget stay then this place is for you.nnWe accidentally booked this accommodation for only 2 adults and when I called the admin they allowed our 2 small kids without extra charge.nnThe location is 5 starnThe water pressure for shower is 5 starnThe heater does the job 5 starnThe cleanliness though needs a bit of improvement, but the inn’s an old building so it was understandable.nThe beds are comfortable.nIf the reception is lock just be understanding that the staff came from of different culture and background march 2019 event anyone would lock the door. And if you ring the bell and take them a while just be patient someone will attend to you. They probably just gone to loo or somethingnThey bring you new towels day by day which was great.nnThe kitchenette was my favourite. Saves you from eating outside for breakfast, had our first dinner here as well stayed 3nightsnnThe location was really nice near the malls, activities, zoo, cable car, etc we brought our own car and the parking is just outside the area which was very convenientnnOver all it did the purpose and we are satisfied. Thank you so much for accommodating us!
It was gross and mouldy. The bathroom had no vent. It took 3 days to get fresh towels when we asked for it everyday multiple times. Reception was always empty and you can only ring the landline which no one answers. The floors felt dirty. The bathroom was so unclean. The top of the toilet was yellow and there were mould all along the edges of the bathroom. The sink was also broken. Overall a nasty experience. It's cheap, but still not worth the price.
Not an ideal place to stay. Dated rooms, no extra pillows don’t bother asking for them because we were told they don’t have any, booked for two people and only had one towel ~ when we requested a second towel it was like we had asked for something out of the ordinary. Bathroom was filthy, I wore my flip-flops in the shower ~ although lovely soaps, body wash and shampoo is provided. We were hoping to use the laundry facilities, however upon inspection, decided against it. Advertised as having blockout blinds ~ the photo below was taken at midnight and clearly demonstrates that the blinds are not blockout.nFor the price ~ we have stayed in amazing motels throughout the north island of NZ ~ this is unfortunately not one of them.nOther reviews and their website mention the ‘famous water pressure’ in the showers and bathrooms … I guess it has that going for it.
The most pathetic service to receive on a xmas day. Moved from 3 rooms with spa not working. False advertised that spa is available in their own website. Charged full price and not willing to refund. Spa leaked and flooded the room and not working.nnWe want what we paid for. Most pathetic service. Do not book with this hotel. Customer Service Rep or Manager providing false information over the phone and disconnected the call without resolving the issue!!!!nnWill be taking this further to consumer council and small claim court for wastimg our time and false advertising and misinformation.
It’s really disgusting. The photos made it look so good but there were stains on the beds, bad painting, mold in the showers, cracks in the walls.nnWe paid for two nights, and we thought it was worth it because of the photos, so we asked if we could pay for one night, and just leave them and there, but the lady was so rude and just hung up with a no. What they advertise is not the reality, I wouldn’t ever come here again.
