Two male staff are having a personal conversation whilst I'm at self check out waiting for someone to replace paper receipt. Finally, female staff arrived to sort out paper. If purchasing birthday cake, it's Porirua Pak n Save.
Normally find what you need but average service in here. Staff need to be more friendly and helpful and learn how to smile. I have been in here alot and found the same most of the time.
Visit time- 10 ish am - Terrible Experience with Supervisor Old lady at Pack and SavennI recently visited Pack and Save with my family, including my mother and my young child, and had a truly disappointing experience. I picked up 10 packs of butter, fully aware there was a limit of 4 per customer. I was more than happy to adjust and take 8 packs since I had my mother with me, but after our items were billed and paid for, a supervisor came over and created an unnecessary scene. She shouted, screamed, and rudely took back all but 4 packs without any explanation beyond the limit.nnHer behavior was completely uncalled for, especially in front of my young child, who was visibly scared. Instead of handling the situation politely, she was loud, disrespectful, and lacked any sort of customer service skills. What made the situation even worse was the lack of clarity around the rules. If there are strict limits, they should be communicated more clearly to avoid these unpleasant experiences.nnThis kind of behavior from a supervisor is unacceptable, and I sincerely hope that Pack and Save takes steps to better train their staff in how to handle such situations with respect and professionalism. No one should have to endure such rude treatment while shopping with their family.nnPs- the security guard was an awesome human being and really was helpful!
Pak’n’save was always a great supermarket, and is still! A great variety of options for everyone, but I have to say the prices are still going up, much like supermarkets around the world. It’s a sad sign of the times, that people’s are struggling to afford to buy groceries, but the average wage does not reflect that.
