Pak’n’save was always a great supermarket, and is still! A great variety of options for everyone, but I have to say the prices are still going up, much like supermarkets around the world. It’s a sad sign of the times, that people’s are struggling to afford to buy groceries, but the average wage does not reflect that.
Getting sick of seeing moldy fruit at this branch. Lacking a lot of items that you can buy in lower hutt and petone. Prices are less reasonable, finding it a bit cheaper in lower hutt for a few common things I buy. No deli anymore and sometimes the fresh bread isn't fully cooked through. I love the 6c off of the fuel, it's the cheapest in upper hutt and the trolly guy does a great job, always see him out and about. The staff are friendly but the produce is quite a let down...
Went in yesterday had everything I wanted Cole on the checkout was great at packing my bag as I have a disability card I do find it hard sometimes to access a park could we have some more
No self serve at deli no locally made homemade pies and no real pork or beef sausages anymore that's what made pak n save great
Love the new fruit setup! Good selection of meat and veges. Have a good variety of stock and usually easy to find what you want.nnOnly thing that I would change would be putting the frozen freezers at the front by the tils like Lower Hutt.
