A place almost all visit weekly if not daily for their daily groceries. Always look out for promotions to get good bargains. With the current living cost hike, this place is so helpful.
Absolutely no fresh chicken beasts, thighs or drumsticks left? We bought a big back of frozen instead though. 6.30pm on a sat night? But the store was quiet and easy to get around.
I would like to give a special mention to Karishma from the Bakery Department at PAK’nSAVE Porirua. She is very friendly and helpful.I was looking for something in bakery and I approached her for help and she was like really very helpful to me.The bakery has a great range and variety to choose from, with lots of delicious options. Thank you for your wonderful service!
Pak'nSave Porirua stands out as the ultimate destination for budget-conscious shoppers in the Wellington region, upholding its core policy of delivering New Zealand’s lowest food prices. This is not just a supermarket; it’s a lean, efficient operation dedicated entirely to passing maximum savings directly onto the customer, making it an essential service for local families and individuals prioritizing value.nnThe store excels by maintaining its warehouse format, which allows for immense stock capacity and a massive, well-organized range that includes all necessary groceries, fresh produce, and bulk items. The affordability is anchored by its Everyday Low Price items and the extensive line of Pams own-label products, which offer quality without the premium cost. For many Porirua residents, Pak'nSave is known to be among the cheapest in the wider Wellington area, offering genuine relief to the weekly grocery bill.nnBeyond just low prices, the experience is designed for speed and convenience. Features like the popular SHOP’nGO self-scanning system allow for efficient self-packing and quicker checkout, dramatically cutting down on time spent in queues. Furthermore, the valuable Fuelup vouchers provide an excellent incentive, offering significant savings at the pump simply by doing your regular grocery shop. With ample parking and efficient Click & Collect services available, Pak'nSave Porirua truly delivers on its promise: maximum savings with minimum fuss.
I had such a great experience with the team at PAK’nSAVE Porirua, especially Thileepan, who went above and beyond with customer service.nnI was looking for Cardava saba bananas, which are usually in high demand and hard to find. Thileepan personally followed up on my enquiry, kept me updated about the incoming shipment, called me as soon as the stock arrived. nnI really appreciate the extra effort, thoughtfulness, and excellent customer service. It made such a difference and did not go unnoticed. Thank you for genuinely caring about your customers.
