Onslow College

I really liked being at this school. Everyone has been welcoming here : I've started at Onslow College this year and left HVHS last year. When I found out I was moving to Onslow College, I was sad that I was leaving everyone at HVHS because I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get along with people well but then I did! I would like to thank all the teachers that have really helped me and I've got 15 credits now. I love being here and I'm hoping to stay here until year 12 or 13.

This school is amazing. Music camp was fun I really enjoy swimming in the rough seas at Castlepoint beach with Jono Weston. Its my favorite school. The weather was very sunny. Wow I love this school so much. The teachers are great. Sad to leave here. I have been Onslow for 5 years. My Favorite Outdoor Education teacher was Mr Rowan Donaldson.The Outdoor ed of Duke of ed camp was fun. I really enjoyed sailing at Evans bay with Kim Copper because it was fun. They get chance to have MacDonald's after sailing. I am so pleased Warren Henderson in charge of school buses.

Okay look. I don’t mean to be rough with this place, but it’s kinda hard not to. I recently switched from Newlands College to Onslow, and I’m slightly regretting this decision. First off, they didn’t follow the leader and kept NCEA level 1. They banned phones 1 term early. The school is literally a dump site. And you gotta walk 100 miles to get to your classroom exaggeration, but still kinda true; In a 5 minute time-frame that is. Rating this school 2 stars and not 1 because there is definitely potential if they start doing things right. Hope this review helps :

It was chaotic the amount of events that can happen within a month or a term is concerningly intriguing; dramatic very extra and over the roof sometimes; wild makes you question 'what the hell' or '????' every other day and unique/weird out of the ten schools I've gone to it tops the list. Probably the most USA-sy school in NZ

Best school out there. Had a top 5 years there with the best people, definitely wouldn't trade it for the world. Top bunch of students and teachers at OC, which make the school the amazing place it is.nn100% recommend without a shadow of a doubt.
