The schools principle and deans are absolutely rubbish. While being at this school multiple times have I needed help from either feeling stressed from the amount of work, to me simply needing an extension on my assessments so I don't completely fail. But every time without fail, they have done nothing but say "since this isn't affecting your work at this moment we can't do anything". They have done the bare minimum for their students and they only reason they do that I so they can still have a paycheck at the end if the day. I understand that being in charge of teenagers isn't easy but don't get into this line of work if all your gonna do is tell your student who nèd help to essentially "get over it".
After our personal experience, I am appalled with the senior leadership team and how they deal with the severe dangerous situations. The crisis management team displayed poor practices and processes were not correctly followed. Investigations and reports are tailored to fit the schools desired outcome.
My son who is 12 years old stopped at Onehunga bus depot to catch a connecting bus home when he & his friend got bullied because from a bunch of losers from this school because my son & his friend attend St Paul’s. Bunch of pooftaz, act tough in a numbers bullying intermediate students.
School is absolute rubbish don’t send your children here unless you want them to have a iq less than 1.
This school is not very good not a big fan of the teavhers and princibal.
They do evening classes for adult learners that are really awesome. Makes the most of the great resources at the school and shares it with the community. Super cute to see classrooms filled with adults. Life long learning 4eva
Vaping bullying smoking, is such a problem at this school!!! I sent my son here and he was bullied everyday and nothing was done about it onehunga is a disgrace to New Zealand!!!
Terrible school, very unhelpful and the curriculum is behind the average of other schools, I went to this school and then another, and I have been catching up ever since. The teachers aren't all that bad but almost none of them know how to control a class. The options are extremely limited, especially the languages, there is only one language that you wouldn't use while in the pacific islands. Do not send your children here unless you want a delayed/unfinished education.
I found this school to be very poorly taken care of, espesially with their students. their behavior is outrages
