Paying it forward through spiritual connection, guiding, reading, healing and cleansing.
"We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop" (Mother Teresa).
I am humbled by the gift that I have been passed down through my Maori blood lines - a very European looking Maori that I am. My gift may only be one drop in the ocean in the bigger scheme of the universe, however, every drop that I contribute adds to that ocean.
It has taken me years to come to this point as I have had to learn to understand it properly myself. I have had to learn to navigate this world as a human being first and then my spiritual self second. I have had to become connected and confident with my gift and move to a place of accepting it into my life without fear of what others may say or think. This 31 year process has compacted many teachings and learnings generally through mistakes, behaviours and resistance to acknowledge my true spiritual self. The end result is true spiritual maturity and being at a place where I am confident and connected to share this gift. Having two very spiritual children has further prompted me to show leadership to them when it comes to embracing and sharing our gift.
The mind battle between my professional and personal life has been a struggle, as losing professional credibility because of my gift is something I stand to lose in going public. I have spent many years trying to block it out, turn it off, disengage with it, until I realised how much it can actually help others. The stigma of it I am no longer afraid of.
Everyone's gift works differently - mine happens to be more on the side of mediumship and working with my guides and angels to be able to access the spirit world. Through that they protect me in connecting with other people's spirits and guide me in interpreting messages.
I am blessed to have a strong circle of Maori women who speak karakia and protect me. This group is led my my grandmother Ellen, who ironically was not Maori herself (her husband was - my grandfather) but she has pulled together my ancestors on my Maori side to assemble this group. So grateful. My grandmother Margaret (Rosina) is angelic now and has helped me in many forms both on this earth and in spirit.
Clairvoyance is also much of what I do, I can see the future of people coupled with messages that come from the relatives of the person that I am reading. However, what we need to always remember is that the messages that so kindly come through from our spirits are not the complete answer in moving forward, as paths, choice, and human behaviour can alter these future movements.
I am not your typical spiritualist, I have my own way of going about getting the messages across and can do this while enjoying a nice cold beer. The relaxed nature of the meetings that I have with people allow for me to get more accuracy with the reading.
Currently, what I aim to do is help people on their journey, for FREE with the only expectation that the person I read for does a good deed for another person or donates their time or money to a charity of their choice - pay it forward.
Peaceout,
Kat
