Olaf's Artisan Bakery Cafe is a solid choice for a quick and tasty meal. Overall the food was good, although the portions were on the smaller side for the price. As a bakery, I was also a bit disappointed that the meals didn't include more bread. However, these minor issues were easily overlooked due to the overall high quality of the meal. I tried the Gourmet Breakfast and paired it with an oat flat white, both of which were very tasty. The oat flat white, in particular, was creamy and smooth. While Olaf's may not offer the best value for money, the quality of the food and drinks more than make up for it. I would definitely recommend giving this bakery cafe a try and look forward to returning in the future.
Had the eggs benedict with spinach from the menu. Very nice food presentation but unfortunately taste was quite average had to put on heaps of salt and portion was rather small for the price which was a bit disappointing. Flat White with Coffee Supreme was delicious though, and service was friendly and quick. Also had the rosemary scone and the fig and fennel bread takeaway. Both were super yum.
Great coffee and muffin coupled with warm service from wait staff! Huge selection of bread and cabinet food with reasonable :Food: 5/5
Really unfortunate experience, the staff looks overworked and under allot of stress. I wait 25 minutes for cabinet food, they need to have a better system. Food is average and the sad part is the feta scone. for 7 dollars they can put more feta on it .Food: 2/5
Everything was awesome. Truffled mushrooms were amazing. I’ll be back for more!
Olafs used to be good. I just paid $27.90 for two danishes and two “regular size” flat whites. The cups are kids size I added a lighter in photo for reference. Never, ever again.
Busy spot on a Saturday morning but worth the effort. Service was good and we didn't have to wait long for our meals or coffee. Bit of a diy assembly job for the smelt bagel but that's no biggie. Our group of four were all pleased with meals.
Went here with a couple of friends and found it expensive. A smallish flat white was $6 my friends have soy, so theirs were $7 each! I know things everywhere are going up but it just seemed a lot. Compared to other cafes in Mt Eden that are around $5. The coffee was nice but I won't be rushing back at that price.Food: 3/5
This cafe is really good but not at all consistently open, it says on Google it's open till 2pm and when i reached cafe it says on door open everyday from 7.30am to 2pm but was closed. This is not first time it has happened so very disappointed. And that's why am writing this review.
Had a wonderful time coming to Olaf's which was just across the road from the popular cheesecake café, Fraser's. The service from the staff was really amazing, as it was quick and they came across as very friendly. The food and coffe came out really fast and I was impressed by both the coffee and the sandwich. A good place to come with friends and family at anytime.
