I had a fantastic stay at the Oceanside View Twin Tower Hotel! From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed, thanks to Jessie and Shannon, who greeted me with a warm smile and made sure everything was perfect. The entire staff was amazing, always attentive, friendly, and eager to assist with anything I needed. The location couldn't be better—just a 1-minute walk to the beach and a short 5-minute stroll to the town, making it incredibly convenient. The beautiful ocean views and comfortable accommodations made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with exceptional service!
Stayed in the Executive Studio. Honestly not sure what all the negative reviews are on about. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had good amenities, the pool was excellent and heated too, and the location was superb. Having a designated car park was also a bonus I've stayed in a few places now where I had to pay for private parking separately. Overall was very good value for money. Would stay here again
This place does not cater for young adults and/or festival people, as there are too many rules.If you are staying less than four days, you will NOT get room service which means you have to pay for extra towels if you need them. So definitely take your own. we never got offered toilet paper while we were there. I didn’t want to get charged for that so We ended up buying our own. You have to pay for different towels if you are swimming at the pool and/or the beach. You have to take your rubbish out yourself or it’s a $90 fine. I come for a holiday not to step on eggshells the whole time.
Not really a resort, no bars, no restaurant and the name and photos indicate the property has the twin towers on the beach front. But these are a different property, deceptive advertising. Big roomy units, average to poor quality fit out. Staff were pleasant. Nice location for a beach holiday if you can't afford beach front.
I booked this property without reading the reviews and it was only later that I found out the many poor comments, so I was a bit apprehensive. We needn’t have been as we had a great time and felt that we largely got what we were expecting for our one bedroom apartment.nnThe good:n- Very spacious room for ourselves and two children.n- Fully equipped kitchen which was a massive bonus and a pleasant surprisen- Comfy bed.n- Very clean. Plenty of reviews about the outdated decor, and while I’d agree, I thought it was reasonably priced and presented well.n- Laundry facilities in-room which was also a pleasant surprise and super convenient.n- Very easy check in and check out process and clear communication.n- Excellent heated pool facilities.n- Free underground parking. This is such a bonus as many hotels charge extra for this. An extra bonus given the gridlock traffic on the main road during peak summer.n- Great location and very close to the beachnnThe bad:n- We were disappointed that we weren’t in one of the towers. The property name is “Oceanside resort and twin towers”. It’s very misleading as all the marketing images and website photos show the high rise apartments and there is no mention anywhere on their website about an older motel building. Our room was located in the very old motel building behind the towers. I feel as though this was very misleading and not accurate. I’ve seen other reviews about this and the property have responded saying that people should pay more attention when booking but it’s not mentioned anywhere when booking, so be mindful of this.n- On check out, I asked about the twin towers and what rooms are there versus the older motel. I was told the two bedroom suites are in the tower, so be mindful of this if you have any expectations as it isn’t clear on their website despite what they may say.n- We stayed for three nights, with four of us. There wasn’t any room servicing for towels or toilet paper which is a bit unusual I felt. We ran out of toilet paper and I phoned reception. To their credit, they delivered some very quickly but I happened to contact them when their reception was open, otherwise we’d be out of luck for some time. I think more routine room servicing should be done.n- A lot of rules and signs. The property have responded on other reviews that these are guidelines. In my experience, guidelines don’t incur penalty fees. I would suggest that all the signs be removed so your guests don’t feel unwelcome from the get go. For example, you can’t take your room towels to the pool or beach. You instead need to hire them at a cost. This seems ridiculous to me given they have a pool and market themselves as “beachfront”. There should be complimentary towels for this purpose - everywhere else offers this. Seems to be a money grab given their location. There’s also a lot of passive aggressive signs all over the place. I feel this makes things more confrontational than it needs to be.n- Having to take all your rubbish out is also quite odd to me. The property has responded to this in previous posts saying that it is only excessive rubbish that needs to be taken downstairs but that’s not what their signs says see enclosed photo. Their penalty charge is also ridiculous. If you market yourself as a “resort” in a tourist area then this should not be required of your guests. Same for dishes and the dishwasher.nnOverall I would say your experience here is luck of the draw. Our comments above are only areas for improvement and reflect our experience. The property may respond like they have on other posts and talk about this being misleading, but this genuinely reflects our experience. Some people seem to have had very poor experiences, but overall we were pretty pleased and would most likely book again.
