Mount Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park

Great little cabin, right under the mount. The most unreal location. Our cabin was near the toilet block so that helped!nStaff were helpful.nA little strange that you had to ask for bedding and it didn’t come included, you had to pay extra. Especially in winter you would think a blanket and some pillows would come with the cabin.

Now where do I start. Location or service or amenities.nLocation: I bet you will not find any better location than the beach front tent site. We camped right in front of the beach. A minutes walk. We did the hike which was stunning.nThe service is great. We were allowed to check out over an hour late as I misread the checkout time. A staff member was going around on a golf cart and he was very accommodating and knowledgeable and friendly.nThe community kitchen is clean. Thanks to all the patrons.nThe bathrooms are clean.nI liked the security key fob to use the bathrooms.nIt is located in the heart of the city and handy all great outdoor areas.nBins available for recycling and general rubbish.

This is the best place ever as far as we are concerned, has everything, location, beach and city life within walking distance, top class amenities, nice clean showers, toilets and kitchen, peaceful nice and relaxing, awesome to hear the sound of the ocean. Awesome hospitality. We definitely will be back.

Great place by beach. Best location ever. Had to remember to take your key tag with you but great secure motorcamp handy to everything!

The staff at reception for checkin were rude to the lady before me, then rude to me. More interested in getting out of there early to close, pushing their customers out. Office is meant to be open until 7pm on a Friday night, system had been closed off half an hour before closing. We got no sleep due to loud drunken man thrown out at 1am, reception staff not even remotely interested in our feedback. No wifi info provided, then to find out you have to pay at reception. Weren’t even given the option. Checked out a day early due to no sleep. Waste of our money. Would not recommend. Service received is not in the interest of supporting paying customers to enjoy their stay. Painful access to amenities, most campgrounds don’t require swipe into the kitchen. Be happier in a car park.
