A canteen-like ambiance provides a convenient break during your journey. The food is decent, satisfying hunger, and it's surprising to find a variety of Korean instant noodles on display. The frequent stops of tourist buses here are noticeable.
These guys are amazing. We arrived frozen on motorcycles. They even turned the heat pump on for us. They even let me put my gloves on top of pie warmer.
I like that they combine bar, cafe, and a small shop, perfect for a stop while on the road!nnStaff was friendly, service was fast, and the food was tasty!nnThe halloumi sallad was good, but a bit small for me, don't get it if you know you have a big stomach! Otherwise portion sizes were good!
Amazing place! A random stop along the way turned out to be the best lunch during our trip across both NZ islands!nStonegrill is a must try we tried lamb, it's both a delicacy and an experience. Fried squid was great as well, melting in mouth instead of being rubbery as it sometimes happens with squid, especially in se asia.nFireplace and warm welcoming service only added to a nice feeling in a cold autumn day.nWould definitely drive specially for this place if lived in surrounding towns :
Fantastic cafe to stop at. We had some toasties and lovely home made cakes with tea and coffee. Staff were very friendly and great to speak to.
