Can only comment on the coffee as that's all we had. It was a necessary break stop on the way back to Christchurch Airport & have to say the flat white was surprisingly good for a self serve road stop eatery. After coffee we enjoyed browsing the adjoining gift shop. Great choice for a rest stop.
This was my first fish and chips experience, but I’ve loved blue cod since being in NZ and I thought the blue cod fish and chips was amazing. I honestly couldn’t believe how good it was. Don’t know if that’s because I’m new to the dish or not, but I thought theirs was so good! Still thinking about it.
12 noon hardly any food in display cabinet. Coffee and chai latta below standard . Food well below standard. We always stopped there for lunch,never going back. Place needs a manager that knows hospitality quickly or will go under by the end of this year.
If you want to charge $9 for a pie in NZ you need to do better I'm afraid. We went in just after a tourists bus, tables hadn't been cleared and most of them still had uneaten food
Fantastic food, compliments to the chef. Great to wander around the gift shop while we waited for our meals, which were delicious. Will definitely recommend to others and we will be back
