If I could post zero I would. There is something seriously wrong with their system. Incompetent is a polite description. They seem unable to change an address online so I have had to pay extra on multiple rego renewals as they consistently send to wrong address and they refuse to waive admin fee despite the error being theirs. Charged unpaid infringement fee notice due to NZTA's inability to correctly hold an address in the system and the fine being sent to an old address. And to rectify you have to sit on hold for an age. Terrible system and terrible service
System needs a major overhaul! Wait times are horrendous- should give you a tracking numbering that you can track online yourself. Instead of ringing an 0800 waiting over an hour to get a reference number to take it back to to AA to get another temporary licence while waiting for them to redeliver a drivers licence that never arrived.
The absolute worst government agency. Called 15 times and finally got a human . One time spent 45 minutes on the phone. Thank God it was a free call number although I gather the tax payers pays for it . Welcome to aderns run government Absolute incompetent agency.
Unreliable train service,gets cancelled any time. If u have to cancel the next train at least try to hold back the 1st to accomodate, worat service experince. Poor management , deserves zero star
This is the absolute worst Government Department in N.Z. Their idea of traffic management, road systems, maintenance etc is abysmal. It’s like they have gathered up a bunch of retarded chimps, filled them up on booze and let them loose to manage our roads, no common sense or compassion for the public at large.
Haven't received my renewed licence in the post yet, when I was at the local NZTA office they specifically told me that if I hadn't received it in 10 days to call the 0800number, when I call it it also has a menu option for not receiving a renewed licence on time, after 30mins on hold eventually gave up. So obviously this is regular incompetency problem they have accepted. This is what happens when you let a woman run the country, simple things become complicated. Think of this review next time you are at the ballots.
The recent resurfaced road between Whangarei and the turn of to Marsden Point is atrocious, over a week now and the loose gravel left there for US to finish off your work is ridiculous! My workmate has his windscreen smashed today and we were only doing 50k as the sign said! Why can’t you people finish the job and roll the surface till the stones are imbedded! Pathetic is what it is!
When I go on the toll website how about showing me the toll I have to pay. I don’t enjoy having to wait for a letter to arrive in my mail then having to type the numbers on the letter in order to see it and pay triple the toll.
They are constantly cancelling buses. It is gotten so bad that I simply cannot rely on public transportation. They are forcing people back into driving cars due to their inefficiencies.
One star seems too generous. I paid for my new registration and have yet to receive it. It's been a month now.. and when I called them to get information as to where and why etc. It took 45 mins for someone to answer the phone and was met with a really rude customer service representative. Using covid as an excuse even still for wait times is pathetic. Lift your game
