Usage Guidelines
We welcome your comments, questions and concerns on the Police Association Facebook page. However, there are a few things you need to be aware of when using this page.
• This site is for information and communication purposes. We reserve the right to delete any posts that are considered to be personal attacks, offensive, contain vulgar language, or appear to be spam. We may also remove a post if it is deemed to be off-topic, advocating illegal activity or infringing copyright, and in extreme or repeated cases we may ban a user from the page.
• Please be aware that this is a public forum. We recommend that you think carefully before posting. Any posts that, in the opinion of site admins, may compromise the individual who posts it may be removed by site admins. However, as we cannot guarantee that the post will be removed immediately users posting comments do so at their own risk.
• The Police Association is not responsible for comments made by individuals on this page and accepts no liability for any such comments.
• We strongly advise users to consider their privacy when using this page. Don’t disclose personal details such as phone number, email address, or physical location on the page – use private messaging if you need to.
• Opinions expressed on this page are not necessarily those of the New Zealand Police Association.
• If you wish to report a crime or you have information about a crime, please contact your nearest police station or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. If it is an emergency, call 111. As the Association is separate from NZ Police, we are unable to help you with reporting a crime.
