Ngā Puna Wai Sports Hub

Looks amazing with great facilities, cafe, space, restrooms. Found this while skating the lil river link cycleway.

Sports club in the middle of Canterbury Agricultural Park. It has 3 hockey fields, an athletics arena, a small stadium, a couple of rugby league fields, a cafe, an info centre and a walking/ cycling track along the outside. Very well maintained by the City Council. A nice place to watch or participate in community sports.

Two hockey turfs are great. Good for international games. Other facilities are also being built or have been. Easy parking and plenty of it. Plenty of seating too. Load better than the Harewood turf, but that's to be expected :

Nga Puna Wai is a sports complex located in the southwest of Christchurch. There is a netball centre and a good amount of parking there. There is also a track and field with some tennis courts, sports fields and a cafe. It is a good spot to play some sports and kick a ball around. It is also very windy there too and access for car is via Augustine and McMahon Drives. Pedestrian access is either through Augustine Drive, McMahon Drive, Canterbury Agricultural Park and the Little River Link Cycleway.

Well equipped artificial turf hockey stadium with three fields, two with a small covered stand. Saw two international games here.
