Took me forever to get into store, cool rugby shirts in the liquor isle, should have ice cream near store entrance had to walk to far corner, but alright ice cream selection cereal milk. bakery had interestsing stuff ube flavored purple looking stuff. I don't like how the robot checkout lady talked to me.

Clean, tidy and well stocked supermarket, as expected from the New World chain. Extensive shopping hours are handy especially if you want a late night snack.
False advertising. Spent too much in-store to merit a discounted fuel voucher, voucher didn't register. Machines were broken. Management recognized the problem but failed to offer compensation or a solution to receiving the promised discount. Commerce commission shall be notified.
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this grocery store recently. I wanted to compliment the tidiness & how neat the store's vegetables & fruits were displayed. However, when I attempted to take a photo of the display to share my praise online, this particular old lady staff immediately stopped me in a rude and unprofessional manner.nnHer approach & attitude was unfriendly and dismissive and it felt completely unnecessary, not too sure is it because I am an Asian. All this subtle racism behaviour just made the whole shopping experience in the store uncomfortable while having a vacation. If there is a restriction of taking photo/videos, then perhaps you can speak in a nicer tone.nnIt's a shame as the store itself is well-kept, but this interaction left a sour taste in my mouth. If the country wants to boost their tourism, then the least they could do it’s to treat EVERYONE with the same respect and courtesy, despite the differences in skin colours or race…
