Amazing, we cycled this 22+ km flat ride and it was fantastic. The white bridge is a great photo opportunity on many levels Loved the whole experience.
I am an experienced cyclist from Hawkes Bay. Today was my first ride on the Coastal Pathway. I enjoyed the wide, smooth pathway, the diverse scenery and the path side cafes. Good amount of public toilets. I do think that signage could be improved. I kept an eye out for the Great Rides symbol and there were some critical junctions where they would have been helpful. I also came across a couple who were walking and had got lost.
A beautiful walkway to cycle, varies from farm to clifftop to parks to waterfront. Smooth easy to follow path.
