New Flavour

TLDR: Food was pretty good, service was average. Location great. The details: - Food was pretty good. Great selection of flavours of dumplings and you can order a half plate of two types e.g. 10 of each. - We also added the bokchoy and the stewed pork belly which was amazing. The food here was really good, unfortunately the service let it down. We were only one of two tables when we arrived, and there was maybe 4 when we left about 9pm. The guy in front of house seemed overwhelmed and non attentive. Only one of him for all of us. I asked to takeaway the remains expecting they would package up for us, instead they handed me a container to do myself. First time for everything I guess. Price for meal for 2 plus a beer and ginger beer was $70. Not bad but also not cheap and i would have expected a bit better service next time. Would def eat there again and takeaway on a friday night we now have another option!

Ordered take away pork&prawn dumplings today for 14$. Staff was friendly, food was ready in 15 minutes for pick up. There were plenty of dumplings. I didn’t count maybe around 12 relatively big. Very delicious. You could tell the prawns in them were fresh which I appreciate. Definitely gonna go again for those dumplings thanks!

I absolutely love new flavour. I have tried the vast majority of dumpling houses in Auckland and by far new flavour is the best. Not only is the food top quality but the service is impeccable. The staff are always trying their best to help, providing everything possible they can. Couldn't reccomend new flavour more! Also, it's great for a byo!

We ordered sweet and sour fish and chicken. Both were basically inedible - the fish tasted like rotten fish bait the chicken was far too rubbery. The one star is for the over-priced broccoli and too hot to drink chinese tea. Truly awful.

Really good cheap dumplings. Other food is pretty expensive relatively but still a good place. Feels a bit weird as their is no music playing in the restaurant so you can hear other peoples conversations.

This place is fantastic! Try the spicy beans and garlic broccoli. Top of my list of places to eat in Parnell

Nice place. Me and my wife tried different options and both were very good. Parnell have lots of good options. Worth a try.
