Stumbled on this gem of a Chinese restaurant when we were in the area. It's definitely one of my favorite places in Auckland now. Must go if you like spicy food! Very authentic and the service was top-notch.
Passing Parnell and found this place! The price is reasonable and food is yummy. The sky tower view from the window is a bonus!!! Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone!

We werent expecting à super nice environnent because it was very affordable but it had a very authentic vibe and it was very clean. The food was very impressive and tasty and quite affordable for auckland !! As a vegetarian I was pleasantly suprised by the sélection of vegetarian friendly options. I wasnt too much à fan of the brown sugar jelly désert but thats just my taste, Everything else was soo sooo tasty and you could tell everything was handmade. Definetly recommend if you are ever in the area! Vegetarian options: tofu, eggplant, celery, erray of veges remplacements for most of the dishes. Fried rice/noodles, dumplings, soups and curries
Dumpling lover is a very good place from kids to the elders,you can find delicious Chinese food with decent price with so many different choices such as dumplings,noodles and yummy Chinese dishes.Even for local or staff who live and work nearby,Dumpling lover will be your second canteen definitely. If you want to hold parties or events,this is a very romantic and cozy place to book as well.
Great food and great atmosphere, a bit pricey for a dumpling place and the portions were t quite as big but really tasty food - definitely way better bang for your buck and Barilla dumpling
