I love the school it'd the best one I have ever been to I am a year 10
honestly nayland is a huge hit or miss, if you're a sociable person who cares about popularity and stuff like that this might be a good school for you. if you want to have a more advanced education then go elsewhere. the teachers are nice but the students suck to be honest.
Went to a prize giving great experience students well behaved, thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon.
Was good for the first few years I was there and everyone was positive towards the school's decisions, but that all changes when the new principal, Mr Wilson came in and announced that there would be uniform for seniors, which hit a lot of the juniors hard. I've spent the last year and a half just watching everyone's attitude towards senior management just go down harder than a person with a few extra chromosomes. But at least the education and teachers are good and will pull you through even the most difficult parts of your school life.
I've been at Nayland for almost the last 5 years, it has been an interesting experience, I've definitely found myself and cemented what I want to do for the future. I'm not the 'ideal' student by any means, but it's not by fault of the school or the teachers. Almost all of the teachers at Nayland are extremely supportive of whatever path you might want to take, and are willing to go the extra mile to try to help you get there. It is with great anticipation of what the 'real world' is going to be like, and great difficulty of moving on from the great experiences I've had here, that I depart from this school on to bigger things. Fundamentally, no school is perfect, but this one is pretty close to it where it counts.
Amazing school which has an amazing quality of pastoral care and support for students mental well being. Some teachers do have student vendetta but overall an amazing educational experience. Would recommend Nayland College.
Great place for an exchange year, nice teachers and a great atmosphere
They have a double bass.
I was a visiting tradesman to the school often in 2019. I was impressed. All the students were respectful, polite and friendly. Well done to the staff. Cool groundskeepers aswell.
