Our beautiful purpose built centre, Natural Steps ALBANY has been designed to provide the best environment for children and families. A place where children learn and enjoy a climbing area, swings, sandpits, slides and can nurture their own garden.

Story

Our Nursery is influenced by Emmi Pikler. Our toddler room and preschool rooms are inspired by Emilio Reggio, with a philosophy that empowers all with traditional Kiwi values.

I could not be happier with this daycare! My 11month old twins have been attending 3 days a week for the past few weeks and I am so happy with the decision to send them there. The teachers are all amazing with the kids, they do so much with them and have been super consistent with what we do at home around sleep times which I was a bit worried about to start with. Imogen always helps me in the mornings getting out of the car if she's around and the food is better then they have at home! They have an app which they update to the minute with what they have eaten, how they slept, nappy changes etc They are so accommodating and well priced too. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for an amazing daycare
I cannot speak highly enough of Natural Steps Albany. My son was enrolled with them before he was born to start attending from 5.5 months. When he was born and the start date was looming, I was very anxious and the staff could not have been more supportive to my barrage of questions. My son has settled very well there and at nearly 12 months old I cannot believe how much he has developed in their care. He is becoming such a confident little boy. What I love the most is the whanau care provided and how everyone mucks in together. As a mum from the UK, without any family here for support, Natural Steps have filled that gap and we cannot thank them enough for all their love and support to our family unit. Absolutely love the place :-
Amazing qualified teachers and outdoor space. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea all provided and cooked fresh by in-house cook. They provide nappies and wipes so you only have to pack a spare change of clothes in the morning. All babies get their own cot for nap time providing security. The centre is very clean, neat and educational.
Very experienced in early learning Maria has opened Apollo kindergarten, a fabulous new state-of-the-art centre across the road at 87 Apollo Drive to complement this centre. Get in quick because she has a huge following of concerned Mums and Dads including myself in giving our children the best opportunity
