Nairnville Recreation Centre is a popular venue for sports leagues, preschool programmes, birthday parties, school holiday programmes, adult classes and many sport and recreation programmes. The sports hall and community room are available for hire.

Story

The centre offers many sport and recreation classes, activities and sports leagues that cater to a wide range of age groups, from babies right through to seniors.

We offer:
-A variety of preschool activity and music classes catering from 2 month old babies right through to 4 year olds
-Yoga
-Tai Chi
-Stretch and Flex
-Womens netball league
-Years 3-6 miniball league
-Years 7-8 basketball league
-Hoop club-basketball coaching (school age)
-Variety sports (5-7 year olds)

The facility is available for hire for:

-Birthday parties
-School-age sports or athletics classes

Nairnville Rec Centre also runs a very popular school holiday programme. It's also a popular venue for preschool and school-age birthday parties. The venue can be hired for birthday parties and meetings and is equipped with full kitchen facilties, tables and chairs.

Best play area for the kids. Thank you for the staff helping the injured kids to recover from sad faces to happy faces. Lots of fun. Bouncing and pillow fight. Too much fun.

My friends baby Bernice & I, go to Baby Jam. We made new friends & enjoy our time there every Tuesday. Yayyyy Warm place & they have a lot of cool stuff for the babies. From small ball pits, toys, safety is well checked, swings n slides & more.
We went to a birthday for a 4 year old. The activites provided for the children were excellent and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Recommended.
We come here for Jim Jam on a Saturday morning. It's good value for money and a fun way to spend the morning. Pitched perfectly for our 2 year old but plenty of space for our baby to kick around too. The apparatus is great - much bigger than you could fit at home. Bring your own snacks!
Great community facility owned by Wellington city council, the people running it now have added afternoon programs for older kids and at really competitive prices, lots of other programs going on and school holiday activity’s-with a drinking fountain and bathrooms that are clean and well maintained. Easy to contact via phone or instant message .there is ramp access and a reception area inside the front door. Upstairs can be hired for birthday parties and has a small kitchen also.
Best venue for little kids birthday parties
I love this place. Christmas functions here are awesome. There’s so many activities that little one can do there and also great for big kids and teens. Adults can play at all inflatable castles and trampolines. There are monitors to help with the kids, there’s a kitchen and rooms for the functions, restrooms, plenty space for parking. They hire the space for a reasonable price.
Thank you to the wonderful crew who put on special kids activities today. Our 6 yr old and 4yr old had a fun time on all the different activities. Lovely to see so many families attended. Sledging down the grassy bank was a hit!
