Great place for a family outing if you have a 4wd. Beware of the many fishermen on a weekend. Don't forget to also visit the Muriwai Gannet Colony.
Favorite take aways. Staff always friendly, food is always yum. It is definitely my go to place. Wedges with all the toppings is a must have there. Only fault is that it is pricey but I don’t mind paying that extra bit for quality
Love always stopping off to the top shop even for just an ice cream. The owners are very nice people
Very nice place, lovely staff. Had coffee and a bacon burger...both just how I like them, nice beef patty and lots of tasty bacon. I am impressed. These guys are also open longer on the weekend than the other cafe thats closer to the beach;

Has what you need if out of town but at an expense good service friendly, vegan options too
Very average fish, overpriced for the small bit of fish you get and too much batter. The chips were ok. They completely left out a burger from our order and we only realised when we got back to the campground and unpacked it, inexcusable.
Food too expensive! Check prices before buying. Burgers were adequate, not gourmet, chips were small bits 1 inch max. Did not enjoy, won't go there again.
Perfect fries, friendly service and helpful staff, we loved!
