This was the perfect Venue for our wedding!nAmanda & David take such great care of you from the booking process all the way to check out. Our caterer was late & David helped to organize them without us even knowing, these guys know weddings!nThey have a huge amount equipment / supplies onsite. It saves a lot of organizing. They really have thought of everything.nHaving our family & bridal party all staying on site created such a magical weekend.nThe grounds are gorgeous & the rooms are all clean & comfortable.nThanks again to Amanda & David
This was a beautiful hotel with amazing view of the bay. The owner was very nice and happy to share info about the area and activities. There was no AC and the heating was a little lackluster, but we managed. I'd return here if i ever visit Akaroa again.
Beautiful lodge and grounds. The view of the bay was stunning and the grounds were perfectly manicured. Would stay here again. The hosts were great, friendly and hospitable.

If you are looking for your Akaroa wedding venue, you’ve just found the perfect spot!nWe had our wedding at Mt Vernon Lodge and couldn’t have imagined a better venue or team supporting us on the day.nThe venue is naturally stunning with lots of greenery and flowers growing and the view is breathtaking! Amanda and David were amazing to work with, everything was easy and straight forward, no question went unanswered and they professionally and seamlessly ran the day so well. We are so grateful for them and their team!nEvery detail was taken care of, which meant we truly could show up and enjoy the day. The set up was what I imagined and more - the beautiful ceremony arrangement, the grazing table and the dinner overlooking the view. The food was delicious and Amanda’s salads lived up to their reputation! We couldn’t recommend the gourmet buffet anymore!! We were surprised by a beautiful printed menu which was a lovely touch.nThe accomodation being on site meant that our families got to enjoy our wedding bubble with the comfort and joy of having the place to ourselves. We enjoyed playing the lawn games, relaxing by the fire pit at the end of the night, and cooking a family breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen the next morning.nThanks again Amanda, David, and your team, for all your hard work.
