A beautiful location for a wedding and to stay. My one problem was it wasn't very wheelchair or old people friendly. There were no ramps and there wasn't enough handrails. The rest of the lodge is awesome, it has all that you need and the views are to die for.
An absolutely gorgeous setting and view to the sea. Our chalet was very clean and the rooms were all a good size. The only down thing was the staircase which was quite steep and didn't have a rail or a back to the steps so a little one could easily fall through. We shifted the couch over to block the stair access.
We held our wedding at Mt Vernon in November. We chose Mt Vernon as it had the ability to accommodate most of our guests in one venue. The scenery and views are abosultely stunning which is a bonus. David and Amanda were very welcoming and attentive. Small things didn't go quite right but that is to be expected for a two day, 50-odd person stay, overall we had a great time and would recommend this place for your wedding.nnPhotos in this review were taken by Robin + Andie Photographery
