We absolutely loved this place, as it offered us the best of both worlds - we had a campervan for one night and stayed in their family unit for another night. The compound was well-maintained and all the common facilities were so clean. The unit was well-equipped and squeaky clean too. The furnishing felt so new and was in near mint condition. Staff were kind and friendly. Highly recommended!
We stayed at the Akaroa campsite in a tent and one night in a caravan. The caravan was super comfortable and snug. It had everything we needed.nFor the camping, the toilets and kitchen were clean and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the TV and game rooms.
Spent our last night here after a month with a motorhome rental. Wished we had more time to explore the Akaroa peninsula, it's a stunning place with much to see and do. We booked an oceanview campsite and although a bit squished everybody wants a view! it was a lovely spot for our last night. Services were good, able to dump sewer, fill up with water etc. before returning our motorhome. Walk to town was steep but fun.
Great location and facilities for camper and. Impressed with the bathrooms - new and clean. I’m pretty sure the shared kitchen has the best view in New Zealand. Looks a tad cold but wasn’t too bad, next day was sunny and perfect.
Amazing campsite, great staff, perfect location with views over Akaroa. Top infrastructure on the site. Perfectly clean and organized. Nice playground and games room as a bad weather option. Loved our stay there.
