I was here Friday evening and the chef was in “god” mood, seriously. The food was delicious, salmon was perfectly cooked and fried, see the golden part on top soooooo goooooood. They were super nice and made onion rings for us as side dish, service - 100000/10

The chef shows the great passion for cooking through the quality of the food and also the presentation.nDrinks - Great mocktail, and again, the presentation too!nCustomer service - impressive! All the waitresses were friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time here.nHighly recommended if you come to Tauranga.

Such an awesome place. Every time we've been here good service, good Vibes and yum food. Breakfast today and it didn't disappointment!!!

We went here with First Table and our experience was wonderful. The music and vibe of the place was really groovy. The bar-tend was very friendly and made us feel at home.nnThe food here is incredible! Best burgers in town, they are delicious! We also tried an omelette with salmon and it was delightful. Great place with lots of weekly events.

The short:nGood: Fast delivery and high quality of food. Peaceful, interesting and relaxing decor.nBad: Cleaning standards need improving. Tad on the expensive side.nnThe long:nAt first appearance, this cafe presents you with decor that will always have you looking around for other interesting things hanging on walls and dangling from the ceiling. It’s far from a uniformed style, and falls comfortably under the eccentric and random visual appeal. The same applies for the toilets ... it’s rare for my wife to tell me ‘go look at the bathrooms’.nnUpon sitting we were presented with two glasses of water, one of which had not been properly washed and had lipstick from a previous customer still on the edge of our glass ... a lovely shade of tan.nnThe drink menu is impressive, and would have been more so had they had the drink I ordered at the time. The food menu is fairly standard, however, the flavors of both the blue cheese sauce and the calamari were five star. A light crumb coating of the calamari had a gorgeous crunch and light flavoring, the blue cheese however was so good that we wanted to try it with everything, only to discover that it overpowers all other flavors.nThere were other dishes we saw leaving the kitchen that looked equally impressive.nnNo questions asked during ordering led to a drink being sent back, but the fact that they don’t interrupt you could be seen as a good thing.nnPrices are perhaps a few dollars too high ... but this fact is countered by the quality of culinary delights.nnOverall ... more than satisfied, if only the glasses were cleaner.
