Bamboo Eatery

The food here is amazing! We tried the camembert and tofu skewers that had a sort of cherry dipping sauce really amazing, the salmon poke, and incredible tuna ceviche. The service was exceptional, surprising in that the restaurant was really busy. Unfortunately they still have their old menu up on their website so I can't check the exact names of what we had--the names above are to the best of my memory. We highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back and try the dumplings.

Wow! Absolutely loved the food, I had to go back 3x this week! Dined in the 1st time with a friend & we were enjoying the atmosphere & food so much we stayed for a few hrs. A couple nights later hubby picked up our order & we had it at home, even with the drive from the Mt to Greerton, the food was still warm & the flavours, amazing! 3rd time we went in on Thurs night, it was super busy but a table was cleared for us. Unfortunately the customer service wasn't as good as the 1st time. It was a long wait in between each dish 4 in total & they totally forgot my pork skewers which i ended up cancelling. However, the waitress apologised & offered to have them made up for me to take home but i declined as I was full. This place has a cool vibe, great menu including an impressive drinks selection & lovely staff. I'd def return & would recommend to others. Well done guys!

Food was great and healthy with lots of veges. Sauce was awesome not too strong and quite impressed. Drink was okay too. Staffs were kind but I recommend you wear shoes when you visit this place. I went there with bear feet and was told to wear shoes just in casefor safety issue. I would happy to visit here again =

Bamtistic!!!! My girlfriends and I had a wonderful time tonight at Bamboo, we ordered Coconut & Prawn Dim Sum and Chicken & Ginger Dumpling which are now my new favourite things to eat! Rice paper rolls were very fresh, also ordered Soft Shell Crab, Papaya Salad, Chicken Fried Rice, Tropical Red Duck Curry everything was super tasty! And out very quickly, Looking forward to coming back and trying more on the menu, staff was lovely and friendly. Will be visiting again very soon!

A great experience eating here. I came with my older parents and the restaurant were incredibly accomodating to their needs. The wait staff were excellent and we were well looked after - one of the few places I've never needed to ask for a new water jug. The food was also amazing, we got a range of dishes and loved every one of them - to the point where we didn't want to share! Will definitely be back and would recommend it to all.

Friendly, attentive staff. Good variety on the menu. Bao, pork belly, spring rolls were all tasty. Pho was a bit bland with 4 pieces of meat and not as spicy as we'd been warned it'd be. Drinks were nice. Restaurant was clean with a comfortable atmosphere. We'd probably go back and try a few more things eg poke.

Food was nice although quite small portions for what you pay. Kitchen and wait staff clearly did not enjoy their jobs and looked disinterested and grumpy all night. Service was quite slow and no one came to see how we were getting on, if we wanted more drinks, or to clear dishes from the previous course. Had to keep asking for more water as it is only provided in small glasses. Wait staff need to spend some time with the chefs to understand the menu as they had no idea what some of the dishes were, or how much food/side dishes we should order to make up a decent meal. Overall it was an average experience, definitely not bad but probably won't be in a hurry to return with lots of other options to try.
