Visited the place for dinner yesterday after being recommended by a friend. We ordered the best sellers indicated on the menu. Started with the crunchy chicken bites, which was great. Unfortunately, the Malay fried rice was kinda disappointing in terms of novelty and flavor. The stir-fried noodles with seafood was a little bland but okay. The milk tea shake we ordered tasted a bit weak in terms of sweetness.nnOn the other hand, the service there was great! The atmosphere was light and not crowded.
I used to visit this place frequently with friends about five years ago, and I remember their pad thai being exceptional. However, during my recent visit, the pad thai seemed to be missing something and left an unpleasant aftertaste. On a positive note, my husband enjoyed his meal, and you still make the best taro milkshakes!
Big servings and food tastes good and like the fact that it opens til late.
Considering I have been here over the years, not once had I found any crawlies in my food.nnTonight I ordered the cartilage fried chicken, half way digging into it, I had spotted a dead fried fly, this goes against health and food safety regulations, which I will be reporting. The staff were apologetic, and were understanding, however this is disgusting, I understand that you can’t prevent flies etc and things can happen, however there are food safety protocols that need to be followed.nPLEASE START CLEANING YOUR EQUIPTMENT.nnOther than that the food is still a good late night snack, just won’t be for me anymore.nI hope Momo tea improves from here on out and serves customers foods properly, at the end of the day we are still paying customers.
The place was remodelled since the last time I came. Ordering is done through a tablet which was interesting, trying to get the right add ons for the tea. The food is nice and there is a decent portion. The bubble tea flavours are nice. The pumpkin mochi balls were an interesting dessert.
