Miyabi Sushi Japanese Cafe

The food at Miyabi was simply outstanding. Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared with the freshest ingredients and cooked to perfection. The tempura was particularly impressive, with a beautiful presentation that was as pleasing to the eye. Olivia is an asset to the restaurant, She was knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great suggestions that suited our preferences perfectly, and really helped to make our visit special. Miyabi's Olivia Shines!

I ordered octopus balls, teriyaki chicken set and a small jug of sake for lunch. The food was so amazing and the portion was very generous! Another thing to impress me is that after I ordered sake, the waitress brought a tray of sake cups to let me to choose the sake cup and all sake cup looks like works of art!!! Definitely will come back and highly recommend this gem restaurant to everyone!!!

Been 4 times now. Friendly staff. Nicely decorated restaurant. Favorite dish would have to be katsudon one of the best Japanese dishs I have had. Also the teriyaki beef. Their teriyaki sauce is the best I've ever had.

The most wonderful little hideaway BYO in Wellington. Exceptional atmosphere, exquisite service, and a divine menu sure to please all who choose from it. An excellent choice for a night out, I will be sure to recommend and even surer to make another visit Food: 5/5

Decent food but overpriced. Waitress asked us if we wanted sparkling water. My husband replied "how much is sparkling water?" Maybe she misheard because she quickly went over and opened the bottle of sparkling water and gave it to us before we could correct her. We thought oh well it'll probably be like $5/6. They tried to charge $12 for sparkling water. When we told them it was a mistake, they didn't charge us. The waitress didn't seem too happy about it though. This made the experience a negative one. Edit: reply Thank you for rectifying the mistake and not charging. My husband was quiet and it is easy to mishear. However, what made it 2 stars was the fact sparkling water was $12 and we were not made aware of this. Also that you do not acknowledge that you misheard. If you had a better attitude and just apologised, I would have given 4 stars.

5/5 for food, 5/5 for service! The jelly sake and the udon noodles were both incredible! The person serving us was so kind and helpful. She noticed our table was a little wobbly, so came over with a paper towel to prop it up. So lovely! Looking forward to coming back!

Forgot our meal and then once everyone finished two hours later bought it out after multiple requests. Left us with 5 minute to eat it before booking ended. Charged us full price for all meals. Incredibly disappointed.
