I always get my pork bones from here. it's my number 1 spot for fresh meat. Not only pork bones but sausages and neck chops are a fave from these butchers as well. The Staff are welcoming and helpful also.

2nd time visiting Merivale Butchery and certainly won't be the last. The service is absolutely top-notch, and the knowledge of the butcher is exactly what you'd expect from a great NZ family butchery. The meat and cuts are of a high quality and standard. I was cooking for a crew and their families onboard a big ship and the help and advice I received from the butcher was extraordinary. Highly recommended and greatly appreciated. Love getting my meat from Merivale butchery. Grabbed a couple of mince,sausages, + ham steaks. I also like to get my boil-up ingredients including watercress & puha from there. Quality meat & top notch sevice! Thanks guys! 10/10

Best Butcher in Tga!! Top quality meat, eggs and watercress. Priced fairly and great opening hours. The service is welcoming and warm. We always buy pork bone packs here, fat, meaty and tasty!! Finally tried them 'big boy sausages'. Very nice, however we also purchased a mutton pack. Roast was not good and that was even after I had seasoned and slow roasted. It was tough and did not taste like mutton. And trust me. We know our muttons. Kia ora.

Love the brisket on the bone, the sausages are beautiful, the bacon is to die for and the porkbones are meaty with the tails a bonus. Their mince tastes nice as well. Travel from paps to their butcher, so I make it worth my while and buy quite a bit. My famz are ordering their sausages now.

First time visiting this butchery today - they were very friendly, offered good advice for cooking our cut of meat and it was well priced. Will definitely return! Thanks
