All our meat is sourced within NZ - Free Range avaliable.

Sausages now very much more seasoned than previously. Too much. I bought old fashioned beef sausages today and the herb flavour is way too much. Disappointing, on the background of several different flavours being over seasoned. Hate to say it but the Aussie Butchers sausages were heaps nicer than this. :-
1 or should I say 4 very happy customers if you include the kids. Was admiring the chicken rolls apricot chicken and cream cheese looked amazing. The man behind the counter asked If I wanted one. Replied unfortunately we are gluten free and can't eat the bread crumbs. He said if you have a min I will.make you a gluten free one. What great service and we ate it tonight and it was soooo delicious. So a big Thank you we will be back time and time again. Love this type of service a real part of the community they care about their locals.
Great local butcher. Friendly skilled staff and fresh meat. Always prefer to buy meat from here because of the freshness of the food and friendliness of staff. i asked one of the friendly staff if he could do a customized cut for my need which he happily did. Another reason why always shop from the local butcher. Five stars
Suggested to us by our Son to try Kiwi Fresh Meats previously Aussie Butcher. What a great place. I doubt we'll ever go back to supermarket meat. The meat from here is definitely fresh, flavorful, and value for money. The staff are super friendly and really helpful although an acknowledgement as you enter their premises would top it off. Gate Pa can be proud to have this store and the owners and staff can be rightfully proud of their store. Thank you and congratulations. An asset to Gate Pa. Highly recommended.
I bought a ham from this butcher earlier in the week. It was the tastiest, best textured and least watery ham I have had in New Zealand over the past 30 years. It reminded me of the country cured hams we used to have when I was a child in England. Thank you so very much.
Well went into the Aussie butcher last week to get some chicken and after walking around I noticed they had mussel sausages didn’t buy any but thought today well I might go get some for a afternoon snack, unfortunately sold out maybe demand I guess, spoke to the chap behind the counter and asked if he could help advise me on some good sausages and holy #%^* Batman talked me into burger sausages and lamb / cashew well done sir you know who you are the sausages are amazing all I can say if your looking for good sausages and awesome food don’t go past this place! Service has always been a pleasure but the guy today I take my hat off awesome service keep it up team I’ll be back to buy more, pac n save sorry to say you might be cheap but your not even on the competition list let alone the runner up board

Meat seemed nice but oh dear the chicken nibble packaging was poor I brought 9 packets meat an the glaze was all thru them plus on the chilly bag
This place is normally awesome. Great meat and great service. However I went there tonight at 5.20pm after seeing it was open til 5.30pm and they had closed. Two people still in the shop working and they couldn't be bothered to open the door. Slack service for a regular customer.
Oh man,these guys a bloody awesome i can go in there and ask for any price on any cut of meat and theyl do it no worries. they have a huge selection of quality meat.clean tidy shop with alot to offer.
