I went there for the first time, but I recommend going somewhere else if you can. The reception staff was extremely rude. When I submitted my application form, she was chatting with another staff member about their days off. I said “thank you” as I handed over the paper, and she replied “thank you,” so I thought she had accepted it. After 3 hrs with no call, I felt so bad and asked if my form had been properly received, and it wasn't...instead of apologizing, she got angry and told me, “When we’re busy, hand it to us directly.” And she didn't give me priority, I waited totally over 5 hrs just to see a doctor. My condition has definitely worsened over the past 5 hrs. I’d like to give 1 star, but since the doctor was kind and explained things carefully, I’ll give 2 stars. Even if it takes longer to get an appointment elsewhere, don’t waste your time and money here — I strongly recommend going to another clinic
I am traveling from overseas and needed to see a doctor at short notice in Nelson. Urgent care often has long waits at home and I read a lot of reviews here that seemed up and down. I was amazed at how quick the service was and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The doctor was great! Couldn't have asked for better treatment. Big thumbs up
The wait time was atrociously long - around 5 hours. Once the medical service was accessed it was very competent and caring. So criticism is towards inefficiency and service planning, not the medical, nursing or administrative staff.
Wonderful kind staff, Milly our triage nurse was the best with my dad. 2 hours in and out, didn’t have high hopes but left feeling positive and helped to the best of their ability
The best of service from all, reception, nurse & doctor.nThen a really nice follow up call 2 days later. Thanks heaps.
