Thank you to all the staff at the medical and injury centre. You looked after me with kindness and the sort of expertise that put me onto the road to recovery in one visit. Special thanks to Dr Layla for her wise decision making and gentleness and to nurses Jen, Bec and Alana for their care. And the reception staff were friendly and helpful too. You’re all special.
I went there for the first time, but I recommend going somewhere else if you can. The reception staff was extremely rude. When I submitted my application form, she was chatting with another staff member about their days off. I said “thank you” as I handed over the paper, and she replied “thank you,” so I thought she had accepted it. After 3 hrs with no call, I felt so bad and asked if my form had been properly received, and it wasn't...instead of apologizing, she got angry and told me, “When we’re busy, hand it to us directly.” And she didn't give me priority, I waited totally over 5 hrs just to see a doctor. My condition has definitely worsened over the past 5 hrs. I’d like to give 1 star, but since the doctor was kind and explained things carefully, I’ll give 2 stars. Even if it takes longer to get an appointment elsewhere, don’t waste your time and money here — I strongly recommend going to another clinic
I am traveling from overseas and needed to see a doctor at short notice in Nelson. Urgent care often has long waits at home and I read a lot of reviews here that seemed up and down. I was amazed at how quick the service was and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The doctor was great! Couldn't have asked for better treatment. Big thumbs up
Waited from 2am till 10am this morning 1sr October. to see the cardiologist He said he was giving me a prescription for inflammation. Were told to sit and wait in the waiting room which we did, it never arrived, the nurse told us she would sent it to Mapua it never came, woke in night in agony could not brearhe did blood blood pressure diastolic 58 and say norhing wrong and can hardly see thanks cardiologist will soon have 1 less patient to treat
Friendly staff who saw us quickly. They explained things very thoroughly and did their best to ensure we got the best care
