Mecca Cosmetica-Newmarket

Had a fantastic experience here. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable and professional. This was my first time visiting this store but will be sure to buy all my makeup here from now on!

Came in to Mecca today wanting a foundation as i had run out of my favorite. I was so unsure of what to get but luckily a lady came up to me and asked if i needed any help. She asked me various questions on what type of foundation i was looking for then found two best sited to my skin. She sat my down and tried both products on each side of my face so i could see which one i preferred. This was so nice to have someone take there time to help me and make me feel comfortable as well. I don't normally do reviews but i was so impressed with this lady i had to review the store! Thanks so much :

Walked in 9 mins early for my appointment . Was told to go to a cafe and get a coffee! The staff are not great both the girls could of tried to sell me cosmetics! No other customers in the store . My eyelash appointment was done by an guy who was not great at putting on eye lashes / home now and glue clumps which feel dreadful under my eyelash . I pre paid online -only to be told at the end of the appointment that this would cost more money as the lashes he used where a little dearer ,this is unacceptable.

As a woman of colour I was not impressed by the sales assistance at this particular store a couple of months ago. The girls who work here couldn’t find a nars foundation shade that “works for me” sighting what I thought was my shade as the shade they wear and therefore unlikely to work for me. I went to multiple Sephora’s in New York and was infact matched to that same shade. I wonder if your sales assistance need more thorough training, OR maybe hire some more diverse skin toned women and you may not have this issue. The city and Ponsonby store staff seem to understand shade matching a little better I would recommend checking them out.

Had a heavenly experience here. I had no intention to buy anything but the sales assistants did not make you feel judged at all, and gave me tons of samples to take home anyway! Thanks

Great, the lady came over and asked if I needed assistance, grabbed what i needed, took it to the counter, got my partners details for her points and sent me on my way. Friendly, helpful and efficient.

The shopping experience wasn’t good here. But the company customer service is great to get in touch with me. I really expecting this store could improve their staff serving quality.

I went to the Westfield Mecca in Newmarket, and had one of the best beauty shop experiences of my life. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and great service from walk in to exit. Cannot wait to return

Friendly staff and great service. Take note that the Newmarket store is small and doesn't have Urban Decay, Too Faced etc but they have a good range and the staff are very knowledgeable about the products.

Thankyou to the lady who was very helpful. It was a shame that I couldn't get the advent calendar, I came especially to get it. I have been to three stores.
