Our family’s favourite place to catch the sunrise — we’ve seen a few and they never disappoint! It’s a beautiful spot for everyone — walk your dog, enjoy a picnic, go for a run, or take a swim.nThere’s beach access almost anywhere you park, with some paths made for wheelchairs. Lots of food spots nearby too, some right by the beach. Parking can be difficult on weekends, especially during holidays and summer.
Such a cool beach. The setting with the mount right there is so unique and breathtaking. Waves make it much more interesting than other beaches in New Zealand. There are plenty of eating/drinking/coffee places nearby.
Nice sandy beach. Toilets and showers available. Perfect spot for surfers when weather conditions allow.
Superb views of hills and beach, truly amazing town with plenty of restaurant, dessert and plentiful of vibes.
It's a stunning view and the atmosphere is amazing. Fully packed but still worth the time spent.
