One of the best day of my stay in Tauranga. Great weather such a relaxing day while kayaking and enjoying the beautiful sunny weather. Tauranga it’s a great place for outdoor activities. Specially River Rafting is cool.
Very popular beach at peak times but the views alone are worth it.nThe sand is clean and the water is divinely refreshing to take a swim in.nThe foreshore has a boardwalk path that you can walk along that has plenty of seating if you need to rest. There’s also water fountains to refill your drink bottles.
This stunning stretch of coastline boasts a vibrant atmosphere. Imagine relaxing on soft sands, the gentle sea breeze whispering through the air. Charming cafes dot the beachfront, their inviting aromas beckoning you closer. Indulge in refreshing drinks and delicious treats as you soak up the breathtaking views. This idyllic destination promises a truly unforgettable experience.
The beach is very big and beautiful. The sand is white and soft. On the weekends it can become difficult to find a parking spot although there are plenty of places, but the beach gets really crowded. There are a lot of food trucks close by and different restaurants which you can find in a couple of minutes by foot.
Very long shore line with white sand, kid friendly with supervision of course, life guards present with many food shops and food trucks to choose from and a UV Index metre to let you know what you need to do to be safe from the sun's rays. You can also do side treks to Mount Maunganui or Moturiki Island for your steps the views are breath taking. Definitely going back to the beach and the mountain next time we're in Tauranga.n*** Do note that parking takes time on busy hours so plan your day ahead and bring lots of patience if you wish to find a good park..
