We went there on a busy day without a reservation, but the staff was very friendly and well-organized! The food was delicious, especially the scallops and beef tataki. The location is perfect, set on the corner. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and had a lovely time.
THE HEIGHTS OF WHITIANGAnnMy husband and I stopped in at Marina Bay Eatery across the road from SALT upon visiting Whitianga and did lunch there. Locals have highly recommended this place as the great place for lunch.nnWe found the food to be scrumptious and tasty. The waitress by the name of Becca was the most attentive and truly knows customer services very well.nnIt is highly recommended to have a great lunch there which looks out to Whitianga Marina.

We werenA tad late fornDinner as the only place willing to take on a table. Food is share platters, and they were all excellent. Pork belly yum! The eggplant a surprise yum! And a large portion too! Wonderful service! Very friendly, and patient with our toddler
A triple shout out to the Chef and kitchen team. The food was an explosion of tastes, its freshness and way of preparing exceptional. Having a place like that in Europe… it would be run over… We definitely and strongly recommend to have at least one dinner at the Marina Bay Eatery during your stay at Whitianga. As season has started I think that the service team will become more and more a team … but food wise…. They are already the top of the peak.
