My husband and I went to Blue Lagoon Bar and Eatery for dinner on 19/6/2025.nnWe enjoyed the peacefulness and hospitality of the lady staff called Jada. The burgers were amazingly delicious and we loved their promotion of buy 1 burger get 1 half price!nnWe highly recommend you to dine at Blue Lagoon at Whitianga.
We had the seafood sharing platter for two with a bottle of their house Sauvignon blanc and dessert. I would say the seafood platter was probably one of the BEST seafood dinners we’ve ever had! Every seafood item on the platter was so delicious even the fries that came with. The service was really good and attentive, and the food / drinks came out very quickly. Would definitely recommend coming here!
A local recommendation and boy were they correct. Absolutely delicious, portion size was impressive, finally a place that makes going out for dinner worth the cost! Which two drinks, an entree and two mains was the best price I had paid all week.nThis place showed up every restaurant in Tauranga, I don’t want to go home simply so I can come here and try everything on the menu.nMy fish burger was a tower and the tacos were the best I’ve ever seen. We drove 40 mins out of our way to dine at Blue Lagoon and it did not let us down. The sea food lovers of our group were raving about their food. My brisket burger was a highlight of my NZ trip. If youre looking for food and good drinks I highly suggest taking yourself over to blue lagoon. Maybe dont get the cheese cake it isn't made per day
