You can feel her creativity, elegance, and strong personality reflected in both the food and the place itself. Her team is equally wonderful — happy, friendly, and always smiling — which creates a really positive energy throughout the restaurant.nnWe’ve eaten here several times, and it has never disappointed us. Every dish is perfectly prepared, served quickly, and full of flavor. The owner truly cares about her guests and makes sure everyone feels welcome and relaxed. You can taste the passion and serenity she puts into her cooking and into every detail of the restaurant.nnIf you’re in Whitianga, don’t miss Blue Ginger — it’s a beautiful mix of great food, warm people, and genuine atmosphere. Blue Ginger is an outstanding restaurant with delicious Asian fusion cuisine. It was recommended to us by Jane, our boat tour guide, as one of her absolute favorite restaurants – and now we completely understand why.nWe arrived a little late, just before closing after the lunch service, but despite the timing we were welcomed and served with such genuine warmth and friendliness. The food itself was simply fantastic – fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious.nAnd the service goes far beyond just great dining. In the rush, I accidentally left behind my sun hat – my favorite souvenir from our New Zealand trip. The Blue Ginger team has been incredibly kind and helpful and is even arranging to send it all the way to Switzerland.nWhat else can I say except: amazing country, amazing people, amazing food.nThank you for everything, we will never forget this experience!
Delicious food in Whitigana! Highly recommend stopping here for dinner, everything on the menu looks so good and we really enjoyed our meal here.
What a fabulous meal, incredible flavours and, more importantly, amazing staff! Everyone was so friendly and helpful with their suggestions, which made the experience even better.nThoroughly recommend the Sri Lankan Curry and the Bao Buns, absolutely delicious. A word of warning though… the portions are BIG!nWell done to everyone at Blue Ginger, a must-visit if you’re staying in Whitianga.
The food and service are fantastic!nWe loved Buddha bowl with tofu and Krapaw Chicken.
