Marbles Buffet

Marbles is an amazing place for New Plymouth. The high price tag is supported well by a huge range of high quality foods. Dinner is the most impressive. Breakfast is generally about $20 which is great for a buffet style place.

My partner & I hadn't been to Marbles for years - but it was well worth the wait! A very impressive range of food was on offer & what we had tasted amazing; I particularly enjoyed the sweet chili mussels & seafood chowder soup, nicely washed down with a sensational Shirley Temple Mocktail!nWe also loved the beautifully updated interior design & art, especially in the main restaurant.nPlus a big thank you goes out to the lovely staff who looked after us, keep up the great work! A++ all round.

One of the best places to go and have dinner, not just in New Plymouth but in the country. 5 Stars all the way, food, and staff. Awesome

One of the most amazing, considerate chefs here at Marbles! Apologies if I heard your name wrong, but I think his name was Krishna. My son has high needs food allergies and he went above and beyond for us. Buffets are always a bit worrying for us and our wee man but he made our experience relaxing due to his care to ensure my son's food was safe and delicious for him. The rest of the staff were so accommodating too by getting him his own separate dish of tomato sauce, directing our questions to the right people and just helping us feel at ease in general. Wait staff were super friendly and my whole family had an amazing dinner. Can't recommend enough, food is 10/10 delicious and the whole atmosphere is lovely. Thank you so much for an amazing birthday dinner !!

Wow. Absolutely amazing. I tried lots of little bits of everything and every mouthful was perfect, flavourful, fresh and moreish. There is so much choice and just the amount of what's available is mind blowing. I had to come straight back to my room so I could take my pants off. The staff are fantastic, clearing plates, checking drinks and generally just keeping the buffet tidy. I was very well looked after. I thought I was going to go on a cruise for my half life birthday next year but now I am changing my plans to come here and stay at The Devon for a weekend. I am already excited to come back.
